Permanent Eyeliner make your eyes pop and appear larger.
What is Permanent Eyeliner? Permanent Eyeliner is a semi-permanent technique that deposits pigment into the dermis of your skin by using a needle.
Permanent Eyeliner makes your eyes appear larger and your eye color more vivid. It provides you with a more youthful and less tired appearance. It can be subtle with a soft lash enhancement or more dramatic when choosing a darker color with a thicker line. Eyeliner makes your eyelashes appear thicker and creates a more polished look when waking up in the morning. It is perfect when swimming and a wonderful investment for individuals who suffer with allergies and have difficulty wearing make up around their eyes especially for those who wear contacts lenses.
The most commonly used color is black because it is a cool color as opposed to brown which is a warm color since all skin types are warm. Brown alone can cast a slightly reddish tint around the eyes creating a tired appearance so if brown is the color you desire it can be modified with one drop of black in order to avoid this. Other colors can be used such as charcoal, blue, teal and coffee.
How long does permanent eyeliner last? Kelly’s clients return for a color boost every 1-6 years depending on what color is used and the overall thickness of the eyeliner. Avoiding aloe is important because it pulls out pigment due to the way it heals the skin. Kelly recommends her clients to avoid mascara during the healing process which is about 5 days in order to avoid unnecessary eye irritation because it harbors bacteria. Contact lenses must be removed during the procedure but can be used the following day after applying a warm compress.
There are a range of eyeliner colors including but not limited to ash blonde, chestnut, hazelnut, taupe, bone, teal, charcoal, and black.
