Permanent Eyebrows redefine the face dramatically by creating a more youthful and feminine appearance.
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a semi-permanent technique in which pigment is deposited into the dermal layer of the skin using a needle.
How long does Permanent Eyebrows last?
Kelly recommends that her clients return for a color boost in order to freshen up the color and shape every 1-3 years. The aftercare is extremely important and will define the longevity of the pigment keeping its rich color. The best way to protect your investment is to wear sunscreen especially during the summer months. The skin exfoliates rapidly and the face contains the thinnest skin on the body therefore using a sunscreen stick whenever outdoors is highly recommended. It is clear and easy to apply. Kelly’s clients who faithfully apply sunscreen on their pigment do not return for color boosts as often as those who do not. In addition, any anti-aging products containing glycolic acids or retinal should be avoided on the eyebrows because they speed up the exfoliation process. Aloe should also be avoided because it pulls out pigment due to the way it heals the skin. You can wash your brows with dial antibacterial soap and warm water 12 hours after the procedure 3 times a day for best results. The healing process takes approximately 6-8 days.
